Question for PLD's running Atma

I am a warrior, bard and white mage. I suck butt as a paladin and know better than to think that others should entrust the virtual lives of their characters in my hands.

That said, I was helping an FC member with his Zenith quest and that there were a lot of PLD running Zenith without their Zenith shield equipped. Already checked glamour. Can you get Atma without the shield AND sword Zenith? I would like to remind them that they don't have both equipped, but I would come across as a self-important douche if I was giving wrong info. That said, I hate to see anyone waste his time in this ridiculous quest. Thanks.

There was a recent post on another forum that showed a Burtgang/Zenith Shield paladin getting an atma drop.

When it comes to Atma, if you believe enough it will come true.

Far as I understand it you have to have "a" zenith equipped to get an Atma. So Burtgang and Zenith shield would do the trick.

Thanks guys. My friend got the Atma after 4 days of really trying. I'm wondering if it's the fact that Siren has fewer people. I hear lots of people who just can't get a drop, but I don't know that many folks on Siren having the same problem. There are a couple of problems areas, though never the same for each of us. I recently heard that there are less subscribers using Siren. Weird.

yeah, you don't need Holy Shield Zenith equipped to get an Atma. the drop rate really is that shit.
