Please start enforcing the 1000 character post limit

Uhh, how about no? Think about how horribly fragmented guides would have to be... My desynth guide is 36,563 characters so far, and that's after I shortened it a ton.

Enforce? ×××× no. As hard as it is to believe, there really are literate people around who'd like to express their point of view - 1000 characters is just way not enough. And when it happens that that limit is reached, having to cut and post it in pieces or going back to edit to circumvent it is really infuriating. It's like "hey we'd like to hear your voice but some of us are actually asleep so only whisper please". In a way, the same as what they did with personal housing. So no, I'd rather it was abolished altogether. Besides, if they actually enforced it, how would the devs go on about posting their explanations (well about 5k words, this particular one)?

And it's funny, despite basically admitting that, next post falls right for it too.

But there's a subtle difference between just trolling and satire, this is more the latter and I hope SE sees how ridiculous it is to either enforce or even keep the limit. Thanks for the laughs though. And wow @ comparing the 1k character limit to "what they did with personal housing." Just...wow.

I think the limit needs to be removed completely instead.

Too much of the game is limited in some way due to lack of resources, at the very least, the forums should be unrestricted
