more houses coming in 3.0?

Does anyone know if we are going to be getting any more plots added in 3.0? I know we won't be able to add housing in Ishgard for awhile, but we still need more plots available to the masses. There isn't a single plot open on Excalibur so we are forced to buy FC's and/or overpay like hell just to get someone to relinquish the land and then pay overpriced full plot values.

With the addition of airships we need more housing, there is one player on the server who has at least 13 houses held by alts. And quite a few other players hold 2-3 houses while the majority can't even get one.

Just so you're ready, if you think full house prices are overpriced, I'd recommend you try to get over that hump when you're thinking of buying your house.. Because even if they did add new housing wards, if your server has no plots left, it WILL all get snatched up at full price before they have a chance to depreciate..

I've got plenty of gil, it's very easy to make in this game. There is just no plots to buy and people are wanting 20m in some cases just to let the plot go.

Well, if you have the money, I guess it wouldn't be an issue.. I was just pointing out that, once you get over that hump in your mind about paying a premium such as 20m gil for houses, it will be easier to adjust. Easier said than done of course..

i.e. having grown up with new games in the $40-45 range, I still can't grasp how new games today can be $60+ and don't even get me started on console prices... That's what prevents me from buying a console.. Do I have the money to buy it? Sure, it just doesn't feel quite right to spend that much on it though.. Even though that's what they are actually valued at.. I'm just denying myself the joy by not accepting the change.. I know it logically.. Still can't do it though

So, do houses actually get put back on the market if the fc goes inactive or not? I hear multiple different things on this, but 3 FC's near me are always at 0 online.

nope and they said earlier that they feel the need for housing is fulfilled for most servers, so i doubt we will see any for awhile

This is a big problem. What is the point of doing more stuff with housing when most people are homeless? I have literally camped the housing wards for hours and days and have yet to see anyone use most of the houses. My guess is that they are all inactive. What they need to do is limit one house per server, per account and do a housing purge of all of the inactive homes. They need to make you log in once a month like Ultima Online or else your house decays within a week after the month time has passed.

the feature they introduce are FC house function, which make sense when the up coming expansion have thing to do with fly so they add in the building airship feature.

The purge of inactive house is need, I have a neighbour who bought a medium plot and never build the house, personally I do not like that so I am agree with the purge. However I am not agree with the one month thing because it will be hard for ppl to travel for vacation, or travel around the world with their work, that is the reason why the one month idea was push back by SE
