Chat Channel Notification

I know the notifications are hardly noticeable but I still find it annoying nonetheless since everytime I see it, I feel compelled to click on them right away just to get rid of the highlight.
So my suggestion is to add an option to turn off the notification. It would definitely help people with OCD issues.
