    I offered them a suggestion that actually would cover 36 action slots instead of 30. It was meant for joypad, but i think it can be used at kb aswell. The basic was allowing to set 9 actions to each button (cross, square, circle and triangle...and yep, i use PS2 joypad) so during battle you could access them by arrow + button combo. Those who played Tales of Fantasy (very old) would think its a similar mechanic to the one used at that game (also similar to super smash bros skill combo system)...but there they were related to only one button and here i suggested using all 4 buttons during battle.

    So, basically, you would have access to an action by pressing just one of the buttons (default cursor position) or holding one of the 8 directional arrow positions and pressing the button.

    But its like i suggested them...it not being an action bar...it actually being a different widget that can be swapped with action bar so players can use the one they feel that fit their needs the best. IMO hacing multiple widgets with multiple mapping/configurations/mechanics would add flexibility to the game.

    Thank you for responding Bayohne, and I mean you no offense with this response; and appreciate your representation here, but the game balance should not be relying on the UI to hinder players from performing well. If that's part of the ongoing discussions on how to balance the game then something is wrong.

    Players value fluid combat so much, and the limits placed on the task bar through 1-0 and only one action bar on the screen at a time kill the fluidity.

    Very true. A 101-key input device versus a 16-button input device. It's going to be tricky.

    we just need tab back to cycle enemies n to get rid of this dumb targeting mode being toggled by up & down arrow key, then the action bar will b fine. imo its not the keyboard players SE have made it hard for, its the keyboard + mouse players, it seems they want us to use the keyboard only. I don't know why id ever want myself to b limited by that, or which person at SE decided it was a good idea to change it to that in the 1st place. Oh and lienn that is a brilliant idea, make the pad controls terrible to match keyboard + mouse =p i kid btw but it does seem somewhat too complicated

    At the moment trying to navigate with the d-pad feels like the atmosphere just turned to treacle/golden syrup and now you've got a 100m sprint through your air/treacle combo. Could just be me and my brothers problem though.

    Don't forget that CTRL-ALt already represent Macros. Would have to find other buttons or remove macros for that to work.

    So, right now you could map your abilities to those buttons, you don't need SE to do it for you.
    You could easily set up a CTRL-4 macro to be #4 on your second bar. Just saying.

    What might help this is adding Shift 1-3, to quickly switch to that page. Shift-3 opens bar 3, or if multiple are active at once (with a UI change) it makes that the "active" row.

    I don't see how adding two additional slots would effect the game pad players, instead of seeing 10 commandant per bar you would now have 12 commands. I think people would find it useful.
