    Changing Novus stats

Is this possible? If so how does one do this? If i go to change the stats will i lose the "Novus" status?

Ultimately will I lose my Starglazed progress? I know its early days and no one can give a definitive answer, but it would be great if someone could update on this.

I want to remove the ACC and add more frit to my novus (don't ask) but at the same time don't want to have to do the whole weapon again. The extra 5-10 frit simply is not worth it...

But if I can replace individual material then I could buy a few and do it that way. Bit at a time as I have the gil.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

I think he means Crit, but eh, if this is for Monk, Crit isn't your best option in the first place unless you've already peaked out Det.

And, if the Novus is already complete, then no. Afaik you have to redo the whole scroll to change stats.

EDIT: Read a few posts down, I stand corrected.

    for reference, the original post

    So let's say you infused:

    44 Crit
    24 Det
    10 Acc

now let's say you want to reallocate the 10 accuracy points in order to cap Determination, you should:

    1. remove the 10 points of Accuracy [for free];
    2. infuse 2 DetIII and 8 DetIV materia to the scroll
    3. re-bond the scroll to your Novus Weapon.

At least that is what I get of it.

EDIT yeah exactly what Guevara said, I overcomplicated it lol

No I don't think you have to grind again, the explanation for Nexus doesn't say anything about losing your progress, BUT when you get the stats transferred to the scroll you will work with i110 stats, not i115, after you're done and re-infuse it your new stats will be boosted to i115.

I'm speechless, they really made it so we can re-customize our novus/nexus without gating it behind a massive grind (maybe it's a hint that nexus itself will be a massive grind?)

Also thank you for getting rid of the piss yellow glow.
These are both taken from another thread. But it seems that as of 2.38, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THE ENTIRE PROCESS OVER AGAIN. You can literally copy/paste your stats onto a new scroll, change whatever stat you wanna change, and then infuse the new scroll into your novus/nexus.

I hope you have millions of gil to buy some of those Det IV materia's because if the post quoted by Guevara is correct, it just removes the meld you don't want and the ones you do want to meld will still continue on its novus path i.e. diminishing success meld rate till tier cap. So no unfortunately you can't just stick any combination of lower tier materia to cap the stat you want.
