    Durability changes too harsh

I just did my daily expert duty (tam tara hard)
I went in with 100% durability and came out with 65%, smooth run, no deaths
Sorry but I think this is a little too much.
And come to think of, why the hell do I lose durability anyway when I just heal people, I'm not even being hit, how does my armor need repairing.
    Stupid system is stupid

they did too increase the price of the teleportation sneakly while the recent patch...

ps: i can understand that they need to add gil sink, however, the one the most affected are not the high level player, but the new player...

I didn't even do any dungeons today; just a few beast tribe quests and a boarskin took my NPC repaired gear from 100% to somewhere around 60%.. The gear I had repaired myself didn't see as much loss though. Wish I had more crafts leveled if this is how it's gonna be. >_<

    .
I thought something was up, even with the TP reduced rates FC buff I was like "whoa, 400 credits to Quarrymill?" and I wasn't even that far away from it. Freaking SE... and yeah, like someone said earlier, only hurting new players, I remember being new and TP prices were already sappin' my gil, now they up'd it even more. Dumb move is dumb

Yea, being a relatively new player on a legacy server, I already feel like I am fighting an uphill battle for gil.
Most of the markets are locked down already, everything I try and sell gets undercut, and everything I want to buy gets bought up and re sold for a higher price.
I should really consider a transfer

It's a fantasy world and the least relating thing to ours you can find is that? Never mind the giant demon with swords slashing the entire party XD
All the same, you are using your gear's "energy" or whatever BS spin you want to put on it.

Understand that they are probably taking into account the Favorites and Token discounts now. I mean, I can Return to Gridania, and teleport to Limsa Lominsa for free. That's the whole of Eorzea crossed with nary a gil spent.

yeah, if you don't have friend for help it can be harsh
i did notice this change mostly because i'm leader of FC and i have a few new player that did joins in the last month. then i have not a lot of choice for the guild benefit recently
    - reduce price for the tp
    - reduce loose of durability

but i can fairly imagine how hard it is on new player all alone, my best advice (since i can't really help) it's to find a nice FC that can help

Yea fair enough, I am just blowing off steam here really.
I never had an issue with the durability before, I just think needing to repair after almost every dungeon now is a bit much.
I hope they tone it down a tad

Well, they kinda nerfed gear damage way back when people were bitching and whining about the repair costs that coil was generating.
Then they reduced the cost of repairing at an NPC
Then they added gil drops to dungeons
Then they allowed us to repair beyond 100% if we do it by hand

This is the first time the pendulum has swung back the other way with repairs though, so it might be a fair thing.

The rate of degradation does sound a bit rich though, might be something they'll adjust in the maintenance today.
