Question about requesting an item restoration.

I think the last I heard of it they would swap it out for you for an item of equal value, that didn't result in you needing to pay MORE tokens etc.

This involving the Burtgang was someone's exact question, however since the Burtgang is cheaper than all the other weapons, the people on the forum told that person it wouldn't apply, however they told them to attempt it. The actual resolution? I have no idea since I don't think that person came back to report. But, there you have it.

Here you are, exact same problem except he wanted the axe. But anyway, re-read the thread and he never let us know what happened.

Someone posted the GM response to their query as

We have received your report regarding an incorrect item purchased with special currency, and we apologize for any disruption that this has caused. While we are not able to offer a reimbursement of the special currency, we may be able to offer an exchange for an item of equal or lesser value from the same vendor.

Please know that this is a direct exchange for an item of equal or lesser value from the same vendor, involving the same currency type. At this time, this exchange does not include reimbursement of the currency itself in whole or in part, nor do we accept additional currency in order to exchange for a more expensive item than that purchased.

That's their policy on stuff like this. If you used your UAT for the wrong weapon, and if they can help you, it'll only be by replacing the weapon you bought with a different weapon of your choice. This is a one-time thing and you'll have to verify your account info. After they verify everything is right, they will ask you to discard the item in question that you don't want, and then they will verify that. After that, you'll get your new item in the mail about a day later.

For the shield don't I need to get another tomestone? At the current time I only had 7 tokens and the tomestone. Stupidly I thought maybe there was some kind of glitch or just for whatever reason, the weapon I actually wanted was cheaper. I said something over my FC about it mentioning I wanted the bow and nobody responded. So I just bought it. Wasn't until I went to equip it that I realized it wasn't there in my Armoury Chest and the weapon I really exchanged for was the sword. Since week has rolled over I can earn enough soldiery to get the last 3 tokens and I'd be more than happy to do so then discard them in order to get the right item.
