I recall hearing awhile back that sometimes GMs will offer a one-time item restoration. Well I did something stupid. Being tired I went to look at the list of weathered items and stupidly, mistakened the "Weathered Burtgang" as the Archer/Bard version, the "Weathered Rosenbogen". So now I'm stuck with a weapon I cannot use, and out both a tomestone and tokens I had been collecting. I wanted to ask, how does one go about making the request? I've tried to contact a GM via the Support Desk in-game with the request but is there a more appropriate method?

Now before anyone says it yes I know I should have double checked. Yes I know it was my own fault. And yes, I have nobody to blame but myself for this foolish mistake. They had the exchange window, confirmation window. It wasn't a game error but a user error. I already want to beat my head against the wall for this. Should they fix something that is my own fault? No. Are they required to? No.

However it doesn't hurt to at least try.

I won't whine if they cannot do it, I won't get angry if they say no. This was my own fault. My own blunder and if I have to live with it I must. My apologies for going off there but I'm so frustrated that I made such an obvious mistake and didn't actually catch it in time. I kept mistaking the Burtgang as the right weapon and being exhausted this evening cost me the work I did to save up for it.

So anyway, on the topic of it again, is there a better means to contact a GM? See if they may consider my request? Thank you.
