    Low framerate after patch

    Computer specs:
    nvidia geforce gtx 750 OC (1gb)
    AMD A8-6600k apu quad core 3.9ghz
    4gb ram
    windows 7

    So after September 16'th patch, I went on to play for an hour or two but when I went to central shroud (gridania) I suddenly went from 60fps to 20. According to MSI afterburner, I'm using 99% of my gpu when the game is running... even in the background alt-tabbed.

    Anyone have something similar happen to you? I'm scared to run it again for fear of exploding my computer.

    It's congestion. There are like, thousands of people downloading the patch right now. Just wait a while, it should clear up

    no it isn't.

    Op, you need to run gpu-shark or process explorer to identify the culprit process that is maxing out your gpu usage.
