can't start game anymore on pc, keeps asking about free trial

Hi,

I always played the game on PS3, but I was curious if it would work better on PC, so I downloaded the trial version. Afterwards, when I was very satisfied with the results, I bought the game for PC and linked it with my original account and started playing it.

Now after recent patch, the game starts and asks if I already have an SE account and if I do I had to fill in my accountinfo... and afterwards it just states that I have already an account and can't use the free trial.... without any options like just logging in and playing the game!

Please tell me it's a bug and it will be fixed or do I have to uninstall and install again (including the hours of updates I have to download o.0)?

You really should contact SE support directly.

You need to install the full client, the trial client is specially created for trial users.

Keep in mind the download that you are using is the country you registered with, not the server you are on (some people don't realize the difference...)

the launchers are the same file no matter what site you get them through. (gdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/inst/ffxivsetup.exe).
