Loot after dungeon?

So I've farmed Hullbreaker for the divine war set for seriously four weeks

Today the final piece, the pants, dropped.

I rolled need, and out of reflex, left the dungeon.

Will I get the pants in the mail or something?

In order for you to actually get the item you roll for in a dungeon you have to wait until the rolling for it has concluded and it has distributed before leaving.

This is why for large parties... primal fights through duty finder often, and always in ST when the minion drops, there's someone who doesn't roll hoping others leave. Even if I roll a sucky low number I always stay to prove a point. Ppl are like "Roll already!" which does no good. I'll just /sit and say "Ok time for a break I'll come back and see if I won later." A few more follow suit with /sit and it drops.

The worst was a glitch a few months back where if party members left without rolling, you could be the one class that could Need and you'd have to wait out the timer alone. But don't get tricked into having your loot you have sole need on held hostage by party members who don't roll so they can greed it.
