Please add the ability to share a personal house with friends.

Agreed. Even if there's a way to "link" the house to all characters under a certain account. For example, my daughter and I share an account with separate characters created for each of us. But yet she can't access any of the features in my characters house. Since we both get the same veterans rewards, it'd be nice if housing could be included as well under the same account. But also the ability to allow friends or FC mates access to it.

I really would like to be able to share my house with alts and friends.
Giving them the option for them to gain teleport access to my house, use the NPCs, stables, summoning bells, etc.
MAYBE remodeling, but only if they could place items and NOT remove items. IDK if this would be possible.
But right now it just feels like a-little-too-personal housing.

with the limited housing plots available, this may perhaps be a good solution to the problem?
also it would be great if my friends have access to my summoning bell, food, npcs, etc.

I unfortunately did not make myself aware of the fact that no one could place items in the house but me... Now it sort of feels like I gathered up the means for a house for nothing. Not to mention it just makes things harder on myself because I'd have to decorate for myself AND them. And I'd also be the only one to get any sort of convenience from it (chocobo stable, aetheryte, etc). It's really disappointing.

They made a mention of this during the Live Letter saying that they didn't the chance to implement this yet, but they're aware that it's something people want. They also mentioned that the teams involved are working on FC Crafting and Golden Saucer at the moment, but would have time to come back and make the utility of each house more useful after that. So... basically, at least they're aware of the issue, and it seems like it's something they want to do at some point, as time permits.

Also (I keep posting, sorry, I am kind of passionate about this topic), allowing people to share personal houses with friends would really populate the newer wards. I am standing in one of the subdivisions that I bought my house in, and all have been bought except for two larges and two mediums, and I think I am the only person in the whole ward right now. It feels so empty and desolate like I am playing a dead game. Wards where it was mostly dominated by FCs feel so much more lively and friendly and fun. If people could share personal houses with friends these new wards and subdivisions would get much more populated and have more of that community, mmo feel that SE and other people wanted that lead them away from instanced housing.

As it is right now, it feels worse than instanced housing, because now I have an instance all to myself meant for 200+ people and it just feels eerily quiet.

I support this. It's no fun inviting friends over when they can interact with your house aside from sitting, standing, or lying down on your furniture.
