Chat Settings since the patch

So maybe I'm just doing something completely wrong, but since the patch my name in the Chat window has appeared as the full name of my character, with First and Surname fully spelled out. However, no other name is displayed this way.

I'll give an example:
[1]<Vid Wunohwun>Test
[1]<Random P.>Test

Where Random P. full name would be Random Person, but it's not displayed like that. My name also used to display as Vid W. in chat.

For those wondering, I went to the Log Window Settings and it has always been set to "Surname Abbreviated" and this hasn't changed even since the patch. It's just my name that is fully spelled out, which just seems rather odd to me.
