Unsubbing just telling them nothing really. With out feedback they wont know whats wrong since everyone has a reason to unsub.

Now the issue is most these people that are unsubbing and posting about are whining and not giving good feedback at all or threaten to unsub if they dont get their way or if this isnt dont this way. Thats not a good route at all

Yeah but I've been here since 2010 giving feedback...everything seems to get ignored, its basically "oh you want this, well we are doing this." I've made tons of threads, on this account and my other. Every Live Letter I've asked the same question...gets ignored.

Look at the atma situation..(Personally I do not mind atma) and they just ignore it.

How about the thing with lockouts on coil? They actually said "This is the most asked thing this past year, but we do not feel the need to act upon it now.." so, people asking for a year isn't enough...what will be?

They don't do player polls because they are afraid to see the votes and what people REALLY want...so they claim to read our feedback and change things accordingly. They might here and there...but what people have REALLY been asking for is ignored for other things they feel are more important.

I basically don't want to stick around and be bitter, playing a game I no longer enjoy. 1.23 was great, at least my friends and I got to play it when it was fun!

ALSO, need I add..if they see MASS unsubbing, it will be 1.0 all over again. It will actually wake them up the hard way. If you think SE looks at game feedback more then finances, then umm...yeah...

I'll say Yoshi (or whoever) having to talk to investors/CEO at the end of the fiscal quarter/season/year/whatever and trying to explain why their profits are so low or non-existant is a much more powerful tool in the hands of the consumers than saying "You suck" on the forums.

They don't ignored it. They reworked the Animus -> Novus part because of the Atma grind feedback.

This is the down side to SE, they don't HAVE investors, they can support themselves, and Yoshi stated so before during the reboot of 2.0. But then, they have no one to really bring the heat with things like bad updates or content happen.

It is getting a bit harder to play, though I have to admit sometimes it's easy to put the game down. This is why I am okay playing sometimes an hour or two a day. It's a bit of a mixture of the player base and what they seem to try to achieve as a game.

I agree with the OP in a lot of aspects, my faith in SE has been greatly damaged, their are far too many smoke and mirrors when it comes to the game nowadays, it's pointless giving feedback as they seem to discount every single feedback given to the, if it's not agreeing with them.
The housing situation cannot even be put down to an oversight, they knew this is what would happen hence why their was no housing preview, like all other content gets previewed.
I always keep my sub capped at 180 days but not anymore, my faith and trust in SE has gone

Companies who care (or who pretend to) put surveys on the unsub process to know the reasons. Guess what is missing in FF14 unsub process ?
SE don't care at all about people reasons for leaving FF14. But that's not really surprising, they never were interested in customers' (or ex-customers') feedback. They are too arrogant for that, and it seems the V1.0 disaster didn't really changed that.
