Yes, and of course those things are not in any way connected... If they had set up the servers properly in the first place there would be no need to but artificial barriers, such as extremely high gil requirements, on personal housing. There is absolutely no sensible reason why not everyone should be able to have a house in this virtual world.

So sure do 20k dungeons and you can get a house on your own. Lets make it 19k to account for (daily bonuses and such - repairs).

    Good luck with that one.
    Uh, you forgot something

    Challenge Log :

    Dungeons - 3000 gil
    Guildhest - 3000 gil
    FATE - 3000 gil
    Levequests - 3000 gil
    DoH - 5000 gil
    DoL - 6000 gil
    Treasure Hunt - 3000 gil
Beast Tribe Quests - 3000 gil
    Retainer Ventures - 5000 gil
    Companions - 3000 gil
    Player Commendation - 1000 gil
    Overall Completion - 18000 gil

Also, why do you think every single person want to buy a L house? A M house is already very large for a single person.

The top 1% will buy your materia and buy other items you acquire. if you choose to only make gil through NPC methods that's your choice but you don't ever have to spend money besides on NPC methods either (and maybe food). but nobody rips you for not using food for stuff like ST and Hunts.

    /facepalm

How do you think they are the 1%? They leveled crafts out the gate and the other 99% gave them all their gil for mediocre items. 1 mil per Vanya piece goooo.

But ignore logic it's cool. The 1% are spending all their money on materia.... but have all the money........... right.

Not to materia doesn't GENERATE gil. It trades it.. and actually reduces gil due to Market board taxes.

Could read the part about "without limits" but ok lets go down this rabbit hole.

Ignoring the costs of anything involved (mats for DoH, repairs, greens for choco, etc, etc) 56k a week. Lets say you also do 20 dungeons a week because you well... Live in the basement. And round that all out to 100k net profit a week.

    50,000,000/ 100,000 = 500 weeks.

    52 weeks a year...

So in a little over 9 years you will be good to go.

^ for a large house btw. Small would be 50 weeks. Or almost a year.

So for 1 individual to have a large house in 6 months it would take 20 people giving that individual all of their challenge log + dungeon gil. (which of course means a small house in 6 months would take 1 additional person giving you all their gil. So hey if they have nothing but 5 mil houses only half the server will be homeless!

Not for the 1% for sure, many people are willing to pay the price, but it's not for everyone either, they will have to address the lack of wards in one way or another, doubling the current amount will not be enough for both characters and FCs.

im sorry as far as i know i pay the same sub as you, why should you have more content just because you logged first? we should all have access to the same game features regardless of who logs first.

Do describe these methods by which you generate gil from the server.

And forget about dungeons or challenge logs. Look a couple posts up for that.

if you can afford to spend 1M on Vanya, you're not in the 99%. who told you to buy Vanya instead of use Darklight? if you were that poor and you were still throwing gil at Vanya instead of selling Potash, that's your own fault for keeping yourself super poor.

uhh at what point did I say I bought vayna? Sold a shit ton of it though.

I like the fantasy world you live in though where everyone is super rich from the gil exploits and no one buys things from the market board.
