New Dyes?

I'm not getting excited for the new dyes untill they tell us how to get em, I have been let down too many times already. >_<

Yep, pretty much my stance as well.

SE has been too good at building hype for something, then screwing the moogle when they implement it.

I do miss GW2's method for dyes.... get it once, use it forever.

I would never put that sort of sheen on cloth. Or likely ever use gold dye for anything other than accenting.
Not my fault if other people don't know how to classy aesthetic.

Only outfit I could see me doing in pure gold/silver would be my swimsuits!

Do you have a crafter who is able to do 3 Star crafts? 100% Quality does not mean you will finish the crafting.
At least having the best of the best and maxed everything should at least give you a betther chance and not about just 70% chance!

Yes, I am a crafter who does three-star crafts. I recently finished a set of Ruby accessories for my brother, all HQ, no NQ failures.

I love the fact that there's an element of risk involved. There's no 100% rotations that will get the job done. You need to carefully consider each step of the synth, every step of the way. Comfort Zone just wore - should I use another, or will the synth be done before ten more steps? I haven't gotten a lot of Goods this run, and I doubt I'm going to get more than 80% Quality; should I Reclaim and scrap it, or hope that 80% pans out?

Using your brain, calculating probabilities to max out your chances, rather than mindlessly spamming a 100% rotation you found on the Internet - this is what crafting really SHOULD be about! It's a step up from FFXI's crafting system since you have some control over whether you HQ or not, and it's also a step up from 1- and 2-star crafting where you could churn out HQ results with your eyes closed.

AF recolor , Swimsuit , new Primal weapons , allied seals gear (weapons are expensive as hell)

i dont have any hopes about the new dyes , i would love to use the silver 1 looks cool but u will get 1 once in a blue moon or pay 1M for it.

Don't forget about chocobo training, biggest let down ever. That was such an underhanded clip they showed in the preview.

True, I can't specify trim or component, but I would count certain hats, gloves, and boots as accents to a full ensemble.

SE actually said these are only from retainer ventures? When i first saw that it seemed fine. Probably need an i90 retainer for it if the trend keeps up. But after thinking about it this is exactly why people had a fit that you can pay real money for extra retainers. Putting rare high demand items in retainer ventures and only retainer ventures gives an unfair advantage to people who pay more real life money. This is what people didn't want to see happen.
