So with the TGS this weekend...what can we expect on the FFXIV side of things with all that went down with this patch? Do you think it will be addressed?

I wouldn't expect them to talk about anything in previous patches beyond the boilerplate "People are playing and enjoying content released as recently as last week". Trade shows are meant to showcase upcoming technology and products, not discuss previous ones. I don't say this because it's a bad thing - or really a good thing - just that that is the way trade shows are. If you want a direct response to the most resent patch, look for it in the form of a Letter from the Producer or community representative.

I expect TGS will have some sort of challenge a la the Ramuh Challenge. Beyond that, probably some juice tidbits about Ninja and 2.4. I believe they had implied that there would be some sort of tip of the hand pertaining to the expansion, though that may have been the joint Fanfest.
