Wt do u think enabling party chat in instanced dungs? It would be awesome since in this game typing while fighting its very hard....it would be very good For raid as well like ST FRONTLINES Etc etc....thats only For the party not the entire alliance or it would be a mese.....so u can speak while playing without interruptions to fights....

I'm assuming you mean voicechat? I'm not sure if PS4 and PC would be able to use the same voicechat tools built into an MMO. Although I would assume it's possible... and would be nice.

It would be nice, but think about it, there's a lot of people that don't speak English, plus one more way to troll.

Some games you get to implement this feature without further problems, like EVE, Planet Side, Dungeons and Dragons... But I don't know how people would act in here. It still good to have only party voice chat as you said, more than that would just be annoying I think. If you have played Planet Side 2 you will know, that in parties and companies people do well and all, people that don't are kicked, muted, this kind of thing, but if you go to the main base of each nation it's just a mess (because it have proximity chat).

Yes but English its the world Language.....those whi cant speak or Read it cant play ffxiv at all i think....and thia would be a service to who can speak it....the rest Will learn it ^^

You could say the same thing about Spanish or Chinese. Do you speak chinese? And what about deaf people?

It's just a bad idea. A lot of us are playing this game and dont -WANT- voice chat. It's anoying to listen to some people talk and some accents make things even worse to decypher. Yet putting it in makes it mandatory, since even if you had a way to turn it off, you'd potentially miss out on information that would otherwise just be typed out. It's anoying enough that endgame groups are demanding voice chat, and it's the single reason why i'm not running Coil or Ex. I'd rather see it's use be banned entirely. People can type or make macro's, we've been doing that for the past 15 years in MMO's and it worked out great.

Y ppl Always put theyr idea over the others if u dont like it just put NO VOICE on them.....but there r many Others that who want to use it. Its not a bad idea its a good idea its just u dont like it. And put it OFF dont say no.

What Surian was trying to say is that with that function ppl would not bother to explain things for people with the function deactivated, so you would be obliged to use it anyway, even if you don't want to.

Voice chat will never happen, Yoshida has gone into detail why it will never happen.
