Hard. EX would be EXTREME!!!!!!!.
It really does feel like it's based on time spent in the dungeons though, Titan fights typically take around 7 minutes for me, though the ST run took around 20 in comparison (and this is faster than normal).

I believe it may be right that the picture is what shows the progress. If you notcie when you first use the glass it shows the picture in full brightness for a second before going black. i think that a preview of what it should look like full. Heres a screenshot of it blank and full.If anyone has not started their Omnilex Novus, can you post a screenshot of what it looks like under the zodiac glass? I'm hearing theories that maybe the message means nothing until you are fully completed, and that your progress is determined by how bright the picture is of your novus.

It's either based on some random element or time...possibly wipes...I've diferent in each dungeon than everyone I've spoke to so far and actually ran into a guy in expert that had just ran 2 ST and got nothing...but in the expert we all got brilliant. That's my exp this far anyway
Did he apply the soulglaze beforehand, and...ahem...clear it with Novus equipped throughout? It's either based on some random element or time...possibly wipes...I've diferent in each dungeon than everyone I've spoke to so far and actually ran into a guy in expert that had just ran 2 ST and got nothing...but in the expert we all got brilliant. I wonder if Gentle, Bright, Brilliant all equal a given % and then they all "add" up to 100% thus completing the weapon's soulglazing process.

Ampador completed, Bright Light. This may be the starting point of a lower amount. Heading to the next dungeon to find out.
This leads me to believe that perhaps it's a daily buff or something of that sort. Perhaps the first time you do a category each day or even the first thing you do each day, the light reward gets buffed by a certain amount (up one tier perhaps), but you can always do more afterwards, it will just give the base amount.A weapon’s soul attunement level will rise by a set amount determined by the activity being performed. This amount, however, may increase each time a certain period of time passes.
The base light reward most likely has to do with also how long the content takes on average and difficulty determined by SE. (Just like how trials give a miniscule amount of tomes while full dungeons/CT reward quite a few more.)
Other things that people don't do a lot of and need players like Main Scenario/CT1 probably have higher base light rewards to encourage people to do them more.
