I have a personal room in a house my FC bought by farming Peisteskin maps for chump change with 2 Eorzan Maps stacked on top of each other, a stool to sit on, and a bookshelf I got from my Retainer in the corner looking hella ugly with a yellow floor and a red wall.

I've made cumulatively 4-5 million gil my entire play time and have spent it all away. Especially on those damned Ehcatl Nine quests.

Hey man when you have a 4X craft and you get to rank 7 quests they're literally impossible unless you buy a shitton of HQ gear.

Plus the Turn-Ins drain cash unless you can craft the items as well.

I started doing the Ixali quests with only WVR to 50.
(and believe me, they are hard even with full AF HQ gear xD)
you have carpenter to 42, it's kind of the same. you can turn in 3 crafted items with your carpenter, with 0 guil spent.
or, you can actually skip the turn in quest, and just do the others... you rank up a little slower, but you rank up anyway xD
