Fix or tip for sudden repeat crashes

In the last 24 hours I am suddenly experiencing repeated crashes

ISP: Comcast

Internet Connection Speed: 22Mbps/5Mbps
Date & Time: Between midnight-4 am PST
Frequency: Random/often (every 30 min-1 hour)
Character Name: Murugan Raj
Race: Hyur
World: Selbina
Class/Skill Rank: Gladiator/36

Physical Level: 50
Area and Coordinates: Camp Iron Lake (26,12)
Party or Solo: Party
Monster Name: Young Raptor
Steps:

1. When pulling or running towards a mob.
2. When sending a tell.
3. After engaging mob

What are a some steps I can take when this happens to rule out typical problems that might cause this. I don't know of anyway to have the patcher verify the game files, but I cycled my modem, restarted my computer, and checked my memory usage to make sure there was no problem there.

i had a problem with the game freezing and crashing (error 30002- don´t know if this is the same problem you are having...). My LS suggested going to config. and setting UPnP Port Mapping to "Do not use" as well as manually finding and deleating any files left over from the beta client. I did these two things and the game ran fine for months.

currently my game crashes again and i have been told by a moderator they are looking into the issue.
