    Any word on the High/Expert-Level dungeons' loot fix?

    Don't remember if this was brought up recently but I was concerned about those dungeons dropping more materials than equipment, which is quite annoying for people that would like the latter for glamour purposes.

    Any luck/word on that getting fixed by the time 2.4 comes out?

    I'm hoping they make dungeon loot viable for progression purposes first. I'm kinda sick of dungeons being useless for the general population that plays on a regular basis.

    How do you do that though? With 4 mans at their current difficulty their rewards should never be equivalent to Coil, Token gear by nature is meant to be an alternative to Coil and CT/ST gear is meant to be the "catch-up" set. The only way Dungeon gear works with that tiering is if it's by nature obsolete since it'd have to be inferior to token and CT/ST gear which are behind lockouts and certainly behind Coil gear.

    Just saying, this is an example of how vertical progression sort've works against the usefulness of content like 4 mans.

    With the rate of current progression these next dungeons will be i90 sets. Which basically helps nobody at this point. At the same time though if you put unlocked i100 sets out at this point you're invalidating ST and making the lockout on Soldiery pointless. They're stuck basically.

    That's the hole you dig for yourself with all the lock-outs and strict vertical progression though, especially when you undermine your own system with things like hunts which themselves basically invalidated ST from day 1.     In 2.0 you had this progression -

    Relic + Primal weapons to replace Wanderer's Palace or Company Lieutenant Weapons (Or worse)
    Coil gear + T5 Weapon as long term goals
    CT released to bridge the gap for people (Even though by the time it was released most people were already full i90 on Myth tome items alone)

    Except now what actually ends up happening is

    AF at 50
    Hunt for full i90 and replace with un-weathered soldiery pieces as you go for eventual i110
    Get Relic for basically no effort, primal weapons are ignored (Ramuh and Levi are exceptions)
    Eventually get your tome weapon from ST
    T5 Clear + Second Coil stretch goal

    With the exception of the cut out of the HM/EX Primals from this example the other piece that gets lost is Dungeons. They're just trash content at this point which is unfortunate, but basically true.

    I personally need those dungeons though for the crafting mats...

    The healer of love and justice! (Or the mad/insane/evil/berserk healer depending on who you talk to).
    I've played healers for so long that I can heal in my sleep literally (People have seen me do it).
    I like to do a bit of everything, but my preference is healing+support (until /that/ happens). FF14 title: Macro Queen

    I'd prefer it if the last boss does NOT drop crafting mat. Nothing is more annoying to me than getting mats at the end of the dungeon.

    Sure, the gear is useless but atleast it can be used for glamor or converted into GC seals.
