Letter to YOSHIDA: A Quick Temporary Fix for Personal Housing Woes

We understand that you have your reasons to not implement (well technically) personal housing yet. Some of us, including me, are not happy with this since we are looking forward for this for a long time. However, I'm still optimistic that you and team are doing your best to deliver personal housing to us maybe in next patch or before expansion.

For the meantime, may i suggest that you MAKE GARDENING AVAILABLE INDOORS using our personal rooms in our FC estates. Just patch it today or tomorrow. It might help a lot to lessen our disappointment.

Being able to share my private chambers with someone would also be nice. Half the reason I wanted a home was to share it with my boyfriend. That'd lessen my pain.

I think adding a little patch inside a Private room is a nice little quick fix and a good idea. The only reason I wanted to be in an FC is so I can make use of the Choco stables and gardening beds.

Not being locked out of content would make me feel a bit better. I'm not saying the problem doesn't need to be fixed but being able to customize an inn room, garden there and somehow gain access to a chocobo stable would at least stop keeping people from accessing such features until the land race is over.

Even making Bentbranch Meadows like a stable space for rent that each player can access without making it visible to everyone else. Pay a fee and you can stable your Choco and pay a fee to use their little garden beds. This reminds me of the Sunsong Ranch in World of Warcraft. It is a small instanced area where people can plant crops for profession materials. I could really see that working beautifully here.

Before the patch, i was also hoping that they could make the personal houses shared with selected friends. Give them access of or some sort. It would be lavish and sad to live alone in a large house.

Just chiming in that having FFXI-style flower pots or SOMETHING that lets me garden inside of a Private Chamber or my Inn Room would make me feel significantly less annoyed about everything.

I haven't purchased a room in my Free Company house because I thought that I would be buying a personal home and I hoped that I would have access to gardening. However, I was wrong.

Now, I would buy a room in my Free Company house if I could have access to gardening. I hope that this suggestion is taken into serious consideration.
