New Battle Stances!

As you all know, there was much more added this patch than smelly houses. I'd like to start a thread showcasing the new battle stances for every job with both genders and possibly all races if they differ by race too, which they very well might. I will be posting some screenshots of my character in all the jobs as well as some screens of some fc mates of other genders/races if I can get them to stand still after the servers go live.

If anyone would like to add a picture(s) of your character with their new stance please feel free to do so!

You know, after re-reading the notes, I think these aren't battle stance at all. I think they might be just an option for idling with your weapon out... I guess we'll see when servers are up.

except the only thing i have noticed is WAR roegadyn handle axe different than other races

I like the way of warrior roegadyn handle the axe hope it will happen to other race as well xD

As another person has said it seems that if you have your weapon drawn and stay drawn you'll have a different idle animation with you holding your weapon. I am guessing something like putting it over you should, etc

I'm sure these are just different idle animations while your weapon is out and not completely different battle stances. Also what you're thinking of is the current battle stances. Lalafells wield books differently than other classes, and Male Roes also hold spears differently as well as axes. What I'm talking about is the new idle animations that are being added in 2.38 to add that distinction between races and genders of the same job. Since, as you said, currently most are very similar.
