There's a lesson to be learned here

Hmm def not what we were expecting but so long as they expand wards in the future what's it matter if they are mixed with fc's.?

Yeah fc's are gonna have a hard time getting housing but seriously getting a small or medium house is so easy. and don't try to tell me it isn't as I solo saved and bought a large house for my fc in 6 weeks. so any group of people could do it quickly if they really wanted it.

I wasn't expecting this til 2.4 so it's kinda a surprise so I'm not sure what I may do in regards to buying a personal house right now as I'm sure all the cheaper ones will be bought up over night. and I'm not sure I want to buy any old house just because it available, plus I may go for a personal large house and wait that price drop over the next month. but then other than the status symbol and extra gardens I don't see much point to having a personal house over an fc house unless you plan to leave your fc at some point.

guess I'll make a decision when I log on in the morning.



One thing I did just think of, I guess there will be a lot of empty larger housing kicking around because most players wont buy them and a lot of fc's who have housing probs wont upgrade cus of the hassle involved. They should of just added it in the way they intended with same size housing for personal housing, maybe mix it in the existing ward structure so every other ward is personal or something.

I thought that is what they would do. I thought that personal housing would be completely separate from Free Company housing in that personal houses would not share the same instance, and all personal housing would be the same size. However, I thought pricing would vary based on location, just like Free Company housing. I pictured a real life suburbs.

I can afford a medium house, but I am not going to buy one with these prices. I think I will sit on my money, increase it, and buy a large after the prices have dropped or wait and hope the will set up a different sort of system.

I will admit that I am disappointed by this system, but I am not angry with it. I have been really excited for personal housing and I still enjoy this game so I will just sit and wait to see if they make any changes.
