It has nothing to do with price. I'll work for my rewards, thanks. Just look at my character. I have every DoW/DoM at level 50. The housing I was promised won't be available because 1.7 million gil isn't enough to outbuy the auction house misers on Balmung who will buy every house within 10 minutes. They lied to us. They told us it would be a new system free from the problems of the old. They just changed one setting and added two new wards. There's nothing new. They lied to us.

They told us it would be cheaper. My guild paid 4m among all of us and were never able to buy a small house because of the land race. They told us the new system would be different and be cheaper.
