Personal Housing Complaint Thread

I've been looking forward to personal housing for a long time and then I read that it's the same price as FC housing. I have just barely over 800k. The hell am I supposed to do with all this money I was saving now?

It just sad, when you are told to wait for it, and you do, that is really only available to a small percentage of the player base on my server that gobbled up all the affordable housing within the first 8 mins of this patch going live. Disgusting.

Terrible, just terrible. Yoshi, this is NOT REAL LIFE! We don't have to deal with "limited plots", we shouldn't have to compete with the wealthy elite. Plots sold out 10 minutes after the patch went live? Are you serious? People have been saving up since we heard player housing was going to be a thing, and the price cap is THAT HIGH?

I don't know why people say houses sold out in 10 minutes. I was able to buy a cheap small house 6 hours after the patch.

Its server specific. I'm on Balmung, a legacy server. It is highly populated ... and this is the thanks I get after being a loyal player on a legacy server waiting for personal housing. It goes to the few who gobbled them up in 8 mins of this patch going live. Supposedly, there was no limit? So many different characters on the same account bought housing as well, leaving people like me with nothing. Only thing available in LL on Balmung are medium to large houses going 32 million plus.

They're going to work really hard on improving their systems, so hope to be able to double the plots by Patch 2.4.

Yeah sure, they had nearly a year to try and make personal housing right the first time.
Do not give us half-baked content. This shouldn't even be half-made...as what I said from above.
They had time for this. How is 2x wards going to help anyone? There was only a mad rush to S houses..So I agree with you.
If someone knows anyone who has a L house, I believe them to be RMTs as an individual. >>;

There are so many ways and alternatives to of made personal housing much better.
What were the housing dev's doing all this time?

Honestly, there is no other mmo that I'm interested at the moment. But there will be, and when the time comes, I won't hesitate to leave this game.
I'm a legacy player who really enjoyed FFXIV 1.2 back then. And now? No thanks.

One question though,
"Yoshida, have you play FFXIV recently? Maybe you should."

if nobody buys the house either of the two things will happen
a) they lower the prices as admitting they failed is kind of something every hard to do
b) they remove the houses altogether which is admitting they failed

so really, instead of whining you have the choice to buy or not...it stops there. If it is too expensive you go your merry way.

ValVe is right, this is totally unimportant and not the end of the world, you cant raise a choco so what ? you dont use a choco simple as that, which then if nobody uses choco is again on SE and they will have to do one of the two things I said above with the same result .....admitting they were wrong.

nothing in these threads complaining over something as trivial as this is worth it..I think people have too much time in their hands.
