Personal Housing Complaint Thread

I think the biggest kick in the gut comes from a section in old forum notes that directly contradicts what has happened, in two ways. A link to the post: (long link is long) http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post1685344

And the two parts that truly upset me:

Personal Housing
While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

So, in the end, we truly have been lied to about the implementation of personal housing. Sure, I could be angry about it not being implemented in the best way possible (read: it's awful) but the part that annoys me more is that a note written by Yoshida himself explicitly says that this would NOT be the case. Not sure about anyone else, but being fed lies and false promises doesn't make me want to stick around and play this game. I was really looking forward to having my own house too. :/
