bad news all around here. My FC was awaiting personal housing to hit so we could fill the MB with all the goods those new houses would need... throws those plans out the window.

While I can understand some people's outrage at how personal housing is Implemented, I find myself not too overly disappointed by it. While having your own personal house is great, only reason I bother getting one for their convenience of having several utilities of the game all being centrally located. In the case of this game that would retainers, market board, armoire, cut-scene book, vendor, mender, and various other aspects of the game. We already have several of these available to our FC houses, with plans to make more available. As long as I get my central hub I'll be happy.

To everyone out there though that were hoping to get your own slice of the game, I do sympathize with you. There are not nearly enough plots in each ward to justify having FCs and individuals compete for land. Best of luck to all of you on getting the personal housing you wanted.

WTF personal housing....not enough place for everyone and the price...wow

I'm a casual player, I just do dungeon/raid. I don't have time to do money with DoL or DoH. Event with the half price in 30 day, I won't be able to buy a house.

I'm starting to think about leaving FFXIV for an other MMO....any suggestion ?

German is my native language, I'll go have a look - although at this time of night, there're likely few German speakers around. I can already imagine what their reaction will be, anyway.

EDIT: Yeah, no German posts yet, sorry. I'm sure they'll crop up in the next few hours, and I'm sure they'll be just as disappointed.

i don't normally come on forums to complain, as i don't like all the trolling that goes on in them, but this needed to happen today.

Im not sure who thought this was a good idea but it definitely is a slap int he face to us. Now when you made the FC land prices alot of us were upset because it was really alot of money, but when you work with your FC to build funds, it made sense. It was a community thing to do... This makes no damn sense what so ever!! We are only one person. On my server its 4 million just for the smallest house on the worst plot of land. which basically gives me the same space as a damn FC room! You guys really need to make a change on this. personal housing should in now way shape or form cost as much as FC housing!

Also Mr, yoshida, could you explain how this is supposed to be more affordable then FC housing? Maybe there is something we are missing..
