I wouldn't have guessed that the best thing from this patch would be the enjoyment I get from seeing people rage in the forums.

Gardening is not content. It's just a means of obtaining pointless mats only used for ... housing items. You can dye your chocobos at your FC. You RP? Great. You have a private room to decorate and play in.

And if you've been looking forward to housing for *so* long, you should have enough gil saved up to buy a house. I made 4 mil in the last couple of days. What have you been doing? If you're that dedicated to it, stay awake, log on when servers come up and buy your beloved home.

Lol well if you are enjoying it so much then why have u missed 3/4ths of the points people are trying to make and that it's not about the PRICE but the SCARCITY that people are upset about. If the price is higher than people wanted but the scarcity was not an issue people can just save up later. But since Scarcity is the primary issue, people can't just earn up the gil variance as opposed to expected values and then be able to get the house. And as I already said Scarcity is still going to be an issue in 2.4 and will continue to snowball as it takes them longer and longer to come up with the appropriate resources

And if Gardening isn't content and housing is so pointless then why is SE always using it as their sales pitch and why is SE spending so much money on infrastructure for the sole purpose of housing and yet they can't spend enough to match the demand? Currently SE primarily uses Primal fights as promotional material to try to attract new players to the game since those people have no idea how redundantly boring those fights really are, but for the people who picked ARR at launch and the first few months after, housing was one of THE hot tickets for promotional material.
