If you havent noticed the substantial amount of deactivated players since 2.2 and each patch onwards you really shelter yourself in a niche separated from your full server.

So you only came to play the game because of the house? Nothing else but just the house?
So you aren't interested in duty's, relics,fates, missions, coil, primals, dailys just housing?

Lol no what u are failing to realize is that things like housing, gardening, etc are what keep you from realizing how mind-numbingly boring and monotonous the things u just listed are

Housing is kind of cool and all, and I am a bit annoyed that they implemented personal housing like this, but really? This is world shattering? If housing is that important to you then log on immediately when the servers are live and get a plot! Surely you can afford a small plot if housing has always been your number 1 priority, even expecting it months before the most generous estimated release date. I'm going to try to get a small house tomorrow morning, but they might all be gone. Guess what? I'll get one next month if that happens.

largest most active fc in server since beta one of the top in the whole game since beta... we have large fc house done all primals to max rank done every quest in game... do i need to go on... this game in just my fc alone looses over 100 members a month due to whatever reasons that the quit... this is just another stepping stone / nail in the coffin sorta speak..

Well 1st of all there is gardening, 2nd of all some people are in FCs on servers where their FC cant even get a house now they cant personally get one, so they will still be put at a substantial disadvantage considering the emphasis the game puts on gardening

Join a fc that lets you garden or look for someone that wants to sell there fc and get a ton of ppl together and buy one my fc was small and it took us a long time to save up for a small house but hey this is SE are you in that much shock it came to this?

But it's also a good thing you are not a Dev cause people like you fail to realize that

#1 yes people do leave for minor things because there is plenty of competition in the market
#2 every time as a dev and u publish a botched aspect, the players tend to hold it against you and each 'minor' disappointment compounds on the communties desire to participate in the game. You more than likely ragequit a previous game before you came to ff14 so surely u understand it in some aspect
#3 I already stated this towards one person already, but you have not participated on your server's community in a healthy way if you have not noticed the alarming number of people who have left or rarely log-in this game in consideration it is only a year old and the way alot of these players felt about the game earlier compared to where they ended up leaving later.

If you only played this game for the housing system, you're not doing it right. So much doom and gloom over personal housing. It's just a waste of time and gil anyway. Join a decent FC and you can have access to a house without paying anything at all.

Yeah, except you can't decorate the inside, or have access to the garden plots, which is exactly why people want a house to begin with. And yeah yeah, personal chambers, that's not the point. Also, not everyone is in a free company, or maybe you have a free company but you would like a house in a different area...

Yes I think it's stupid to unsubscribe just because of this, but I can understand fully people's frustrations with how poorly this was designed.

I just cant believe how far final fantasy has fallen since 9, and this.. this is just unacceptable, many people i know that keep me playing this game are going to quit, and while i doubt it will be the nail in the coffin for me, this coming expansion probably will judging by this update.

Really, I own a house and you don't make much gil from gardening, you get a small house you can only have 1 garden plot.

Reason is that the person who have gardening plots and houses have lower the prices and seeds cost tons of gil.

So if you are mentioning gardening I believe you think you gonna make some moneys you aint

Best thing to do is join a FC with a house use their garden color your bird.
