...really? Making a system that exists mostly just for vanity restricted will KILL the game? Maybe it's just you that will quit.

isn't one person quitting too many for a feature release? might as well have kept delaying it.
the game has what 10,000 players per server, they release 150 plots of land total to buy for personal housing?

Oh, I enjoy vanity and RP. In fact I would love if houses were free like FFXI. However, I have an intense dislike of hyperbole, and I also understand their reasoning behind it. Until they can address issues with adding more districts, there WILL be a gating mechanic that only lets a select few have houses. If it's not cost, then it will be whoever can log on first.

I'd be inclined to agree if things like gardening weren't gated off to people like me who aren't high in the FC ranking...I hate having to ask my FC for things and hope a high enough ranked player is on. Sorry bud, but some of us need housing to do this stupid gated content

What content is gated by housing? Chocobo dying? The garden only produced items that are used for more housing items, or for training your (useless) Chocobo companion.I'd be inclined to agree if things like gardening weren't gated off to people like me who aren't high in the FC ranking...I hate having to ask my FC for things and hope a high enough ranked player is on. so they expect us to pay 70 million for a large useless plot?
I mean hey, just because it's useless to you doesn't mean it's useless to everyone... There's good money to be made in gardening and some of us like dying and training or (useless) chocobos
