Good bye healers. I won't be PvPing anymore, I guess.
1v1 healer vs healer duals just got a lot more boring
I'm in favor of every Healer going on strike. No heals for anyone (in frontlines) until we get Cleric stance back.
ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ CLERIC STANC or RIOTヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
The movement starts now.

i have 2 wins left to finally get my mount... damn adders -_-
however, after that i will not play FLs any longer.
gratz for taking away half of my viable utility.
riot!
I was mortified after reading that Cleric Stance was removed from pvp. I have lost motivation to continue, even though I was doing it for the pvp gear for SCH.

Coulda just been fine if they nerf % heal in pvp, but declawing healers by taking away cleric stance is just sad. I'm already stuck playing turtle when I 1v1 melee (they got really strong after the last buff) or any other dps, even with spamming all my cooldowns I can barely kill/survive against one if they know what they have the same amount of cooldown as me and know what they are doing. Now this basically mean I have to be even more passive in frontline just divine seal + medica 2 + regen. No more getting rewarded for switching cleric on/off at the right time. No more being able to fight off dps now because they can just constant interrupt my dps cast while they heal back everything with bloodbath. If you want to shoehorn healer role that bad then lower tanks str by 50% so they can't dps anymore and make their provoke work like a charm. This is just Yoshi and his team saying they have absolutely no f*cking idea how they want to balance frontline. Keep listening to whiners about how they can't kill healers all day Yoshi.
Terible patch for frontline. Might be a close nail in the coffin ontop of their negligence with the queue problems. I expect many healers to be discourage and switch as well as a nice amount of backlash on the JP PVP forum.
(I'll give then a tiny tiny bit of props in highlighting controlled objective by faction color)
Shhh no tears just dream now.

So we're just supposed to stand around and spam cure......sounds great!! T_T
let the cake eating commence!!

Just incredible. This is what you get when you listen to unaccomplished and inexperienced players vs those who actually have played the roles. This is balancing for the sake of appeasement rather than the actual health of the game, and this is something that is extremely bad for everyone involved.
Part of the reason a lot of people went as healers in FL (any number of the above responses should be evidence enough) was that playing a two-way role was quite fun and skilled players could really make their mark. Instead, healers get a huge ability stripped from them. With healers continually being marginalized because of the reckless wishes of a few players, it's pretty easy to see their why numbers dwindle in pvp. My suspicion is that healers will dry out fairly quickly, not only making FL almost impossible to do, but eventually something no one will do. Why wait in queue for an hour just to get into a match where nobody is going to heal?
Honestly, i am not surprised and i don't think anyone else should be. In this patch there was no fix to matchmaking or FL queues, we were just given changes that only further degrade ffxiv pvp.
Just want to put it out there for all the people who carelessly asked for nerfs to healers. Sometimes you get exactly what you ask for and it's changes and philosophies like these that will eventually make it so nobody gets to pvp.
