After 1 hour of waiting for the 2.38 Patch Note, the 1st thing i looking foward to it was personal housing, but after i look at the price of my world 4m/30m/70m and i remember yoshida mention before the personal housing is much more cheaper than FC housing but now it's about the same pricing. Now i can smell those RMT seller are coming and make a big business.

They explicitly stated personal housing would be cheaper than FC housing. So much for that.

It took them nine months to make it so individuals could buy Free Company estates. Literally no other change.

No wonder they gave us absolutely no information on this. Actually, they gave us misinformation, considering 850k was a bit too low, and Gardening might not happen (literally all they ever told us about Personal Housing). No damn wonder though, if they told me 8 months ago that Personal Housing would come in 2.38, and it would cost me 37,500,000 Gil and a lot of luck to get the plot I want, I'd have stopped playing there and then. They didn't even have Frontlines around to keep me interested back then... People have been begging for information on Personal Housing since 2.1, and instead of "It'll be exactly the same as Free Company Housing" we get complete and utter bullshit banter over 850k. Did they just forget about Personal Housing or something? Did someone turn around and go "Oh shit, weren't we meant to add Personal Housing this patch?", so instead of putting 9 months work into it they literally just gave us Free Company Housing again?

Way to take the ball, put it in a particle accelerator, and fire it directly at the center of the Earth at near-speed of light.

I think what morningstar is suggesting is something along the lines of:
1) RMT buys house as individual
2) RMT posts the house with plot and server on their website for real life $$
3) SE somehow catches wind of this and bans the RMT's account, thus removing the gil the RMT used to buy the house while freeing the plot up for legitimate players

My gut tells me there's a loophole somewhere in there that would benefit the RMT, but I can't think of one right now.

While everybody was eagerly waiting for the patch notes, I was eagerly waiting for the flood of tears on the forums. This is the best patch, warms my heart.
