They would ideally be able to freely swap, but it would still cost an alexandrite and the materia. I think it would just be ridiculous to have to restat an entire scroll to restat a few points that were poorly allocated.

Yea that would totally disadvantage people who got their HA before/shortly after they got their Novus.
I was talking to a friend last night how it might be related/similar to spiritbonding, but I also told him that people who never got HA will get an advantage as their Novus will be bonded more than most people. Soulglazing sounds a whole like spiritbonding, and because it's a different system, everyone starts at the time.
From what I've been reading online from peoples posts from checking google searches is that there's 6 different lights, each light represents points so 1,2,4,6,8,10 with 11 different tiers, 199 light points to reach each tier to a total of 2000 light points to reach max, after that I'm not sure if you'll have to infuse extra materia to up the stats a bit or if the novus stats you're happy with will upgrade automatically. If this seems to be the process then it's kinda the easiest one yet, just equipped your novus and playFrom what I've seen so far you'll get light points from dungeons, raids, maps and any level fate, I got feeble light from a level 14 fate and also a level 49 fate so power through them low level fates while waiting for a duty

Downside of this is in my opinion, SE really kills of what they first declared as their USP... Being able to play all Classes on one Char.
I just found my love for Monk (even hitted i102 yesterday) - but as my main is BLM and he got the Novus, i will now see quite a long time doing nothing with my alt-classes, which i find very sad.
Also it droped 3 ATMA´s for me last week by random FATEs, but i won´t grind out on the other 9, as the way to a second novus/nexus is far too much time for me...
Too bad, really... every time I reach the max on Relic, and find time to do something with my Alts and Fun opens up, it put´s another step into it, and reduces me to my Main again, while Gear for my Alt´s fall behind and behind...
Yeah I see what you're saying but for my alt classes I've been able to get full 90 gear with just a few allied seals so that helps, I've also been saving sands of time and oils in prep for 2.4 as I hear a new tomb might be coming out along with new gear so myths will be done with and soldiery gear will be a lot easier to get and upgrade, I did ST twice today and the last two boss drops were consistent. Anom dropped gear, tomb and oil, last boss dropped 5 loots in one chest, 2x sands 1 oil, 1 tomb and gear so seems like SE have made it easy to prep ourselves with the upgrade materials for soldiery gear and if myth get done with then soldiery will be the replacement for myths in hunts, I can cap myths in two hours when hunting so it's gunna be easy to gear up and upgrade alts to 110.
As for Nexus I've got PLD and BLM Novus weapons and I can attune both at the same time, so I just need to change class and carry on playing and attune them both together, I may not get done as fast as others but I'll have two Nexus when I am doneit's gunna be an interesting next couple of months I think.

What needs to be done is allowing the re-fusion of matera to the sphere scroll without Alexandrites if u have already finished the process once already. Also more repetable quest for material need to be added to prevent massive price jacking. The amount of your gill-pile should not determine your weapon stats, this was a very poor choice on SE part, this quest has made the economy system of this game much worse then what it is already not improve it.

IMO, there's nothing wrong with requiring Alex's to reinfuse new stats. Alex's are easy to get. You can get them via Allied Seals, Myth exchange and Daily Expert Roulette. Unless you're redoing your whole sphere scroll, acquiring new Alex's to change your stats should be the least of your worries. I redid 8 stats on my Nexus and it took me 2 days to get all the Alex's I needed. What needs to be done is allowing the re-fusion of matera to the sphere scroll without Alexandrites if u have already finished the process once already. When you redo Nexus do you have to do the glaze again?IMO, there's nothing wrong with requiring Alex's to reinfuse new stats. Alex's are easy to get. No you don't. Once you have Nexus, you have Nexus. There is an option after obtaining the Nexus to do another Sphere Scroll for your weapon, but this is just in case you want to redo your stats on your weapon. You are only changing the additional stats that you added with the sphere scroll and nothing more. Nexus is still Nexus.
