Errr, so what happened to changing the look/glow effect?
I'm almost at novus but I don't want that horrid gold glow

It sounds like a very intricate and extensive spiritbonding process. I'm actually looking forward to it. It'll give me something to work for on nights that I don't raid. I'm most excited about the fact that it won't kill my wallet like Novus did.
Well, considering it was possible to wipe specific melds off the original sphere scroll I'd imagine the process will be the same. We'll create the new sphere, the 75 melds we've got on our weapon will go onto it. From there we can swap around whatever stats we want, as well as adding the additional 3 stats the i115 weapons have before handing it back over and finishing the Nexus weapon.
At least, I hope that's the case... the materia market will just implode if everyone's got another 78 materia to infuse. =/

Not to mention it would fuel the fire already created by the anti-housing update mobs. lolol

I certainly DO NOT hope we can FREELY swap around stats. I didn't build a perfect DET/CRIT Gae Bolg just so someone who added parry can reset their materia points into all DET/CRIT at a fraction of the cost.
I'm a Ninja.
Sounds like various things will give a % of completion (ie. killing overworld trash, dungeons, raids, primals, FATES, possibly quests or even just exploring, but probably not). Various times, or orders, or something that could be intelligibly transmitted to another player will increase the rate of completion, though I do expect that underneath it all merely killing trash in T7 and T8 will probably be the fastest way of completing it, even if it's not at all what they intend. Then again, it might be that you have an invisible meter for several activities and you need to fill each one (essentially animus books without specific or visible requirements). For example, you might kill trash mobs for hours on end, gaining completion the whole time, but then it stops at X% and doesn't budge anymore. Time to run dungeons or do something else that will make it move again.
exactly...Given their talking about setting the Scroll stats to "i110 levels" for redoing the stats, I am fairly confident this upgrade to i115 IS bringing the corresponding stat increases. Which means HA weapons are about to be outdated for people who upgraded optimally (or even sorta optimally).
it's very clear that there are stats upgrades on the weapon.
that's the only thing we know for sure from the very confusing text available on the patch notes.
I really don't think that will be the case. If you want to swap stats on the first sphere scroll you lose the materia you put into it and have to buy the correct ones to meld. I imagine this editing people can do will be the same system. So you'll have the advantage of getting the upgrade to i115 w/o any additional cost. People who have slightly different stats will need to get some Alexandrite and buy a few materia to change what they want.
