Why the hell does it matter whether personal houses and FC houses are in the same ward or not? In fact, its probably better since it will be easier to build a community this way. What did you want them to do to distinguish FC houses from personal houses? A house is a house. Did you want personal houses to be more limited? Why in the world would they go out of their way to limit our options? Did you think that personal houses should be small? Okay, go buy a small house then. Why does it bother you so much that others can buy large houses? Its like saying that since you can't afford a mansion, rich movie stars and corporate CEOs shouldn't be able to as well.

Are you just whining cuz you can't afford even a small house? Then tough luck, go make some gil, quite the game, whatever. Most people won't be buying these houses til after the 60 day mark so if you can't even make 2 mil gil when so much gil has been added to the servers since 2.1, then by all means, quit the game. Or does it just bother you that others have the option to buy a house that you can't afford?

If you think an FC house is already enough and don't want a personal one, then great. No one is forcing you to buy a personal house.

The only difference they can make between a FC house and a personal house is to make one more limited than the other and I see no reason why they should limit all of us like that. There are people who don't want limits on their personal houses; if you want to limit your personal house, then do so, no one is stopping you. Other than that, a house is a house, what other distinction can they make besides that one is shared and the other is not? They could make even smaller houses for even cheaper but that would just be a waste of resources.

My only complaint I really have is that you can't have joint-ownership, like with a significant other or something; though this will probably be addressed later on. It is also likely there there will be features in the future that can only be done as an FC. Other than that, a house is a house, how big it is is determined by your wallet.

This pretty much excludes Any casual player from a house overall, I know there are personal rooms but with marriage coming people wanted a house for the 2 of them. So even with personal house only 1 person has access to anything in it, useless.

Because personal housing isn't for casuals.

Question, why did it take SE this long to introduce something that has already been here since housing was first added in 2.1?
Why do single players need to compete with free companies for land? No one is complaining about being able to buy large houses, you're missing the point entirely... I'm not going to even continue, I don't know why you even bothered.

They should come out with apartments. I don't want to be moving into what can be compared to the fraternity neighborhood of any college town. I was honestly most excited to have my friends as neighbors and seeing our decorating progress right next to each other.

I just bought a house IRL. Buying a real house is easier than buying a house in this game. (Really, we should not have to work the same number of hours in a video game as we do at our day jobs just to afford something which isn't, you know... a real house.)

Decorating, hanging with friends, RPing with you in game husband/wife. Yep sounds like that only for the hard core.

I can afford a medium house if I choose to buy one, I just don't see it worthwhile to use all the GiI. Its something that should be open for all with just a little work.

Given that they took so long about it, you'd think they'd have come up with something a hell of a lot better. I don't see why it has to be connected to the FC wards in any way. I don't see why the pricing is so ridiculous when it's a one person house, not a guild house. I don't even see why players need stupidly large houses for ONE person.

Personally, I'd a like to see race-sized houses. I don't care if we have race restricted wards, or if any race can buy a plot in any ward. But it makes sense that a lalafell be able to place a lalafell sized house, and a roegadyn place a roegadyn sied-house. As a lalafell myself, nothing anywhere is in reach of me. All the furniture in our guild house is massive in comparison to lalafell and probably puny in comparison to a roegadyn.

If they're gonna take so long about things, why not actually make them PERSONAL!?
