OMG it's already been 15 mins since shutdown and STILL no patch notes!!!

Seriously people, enjoy the anticipation a bit. You have 8 hours to kill. Go read a book, see a movie, hug a friend, whatever.

It's just something that most people are used too from other games. Nearly every other MMO releases patch notes for every patch, no matter how small they are. Square-Enix has never really followed that, which I do and don't like (do because it's cool to not have everything known beforehand, don't because...well the exact same reason).
(And then you have ArenaNet who just stealth-nerfs everything and pretends it was always that way)

Touché! I -think- (not entirely sure) that there is an RL equivalent out there...
