Beast Tribe question

I am just wondering if beast tribes are worth grabbing? Besides im not going for doh or dol so if I got the Ixial tribe to get all the tribes on my rep page, I could just buy the mats for that ixial? Also will they be updating the stuff we can buy from the beast tribe vendors in the future?
I am asking others if its worth it apart from lore and story.

You can only buy the mats for the "quota quest" which would take quite a long time at only 50 rep a day but the other quests you cannot buy the items for. The are untradable. At max rank you can but the new myth mats for 6 oaknots each which are only obtainable from the 2 highest tier quest givers. Also a new pair of i70 crafter hands which are arguably worse then the fully melded i55 crafter af hands. Other than that all your missing out on is the new minions and mount

And yes they will be updating purchasable items from the vendors as they add more reputation to the tribes. Doing the new quest after getting every beast tribe to max rank adds a new item to every beast tribe vendor.

also missing out on the Sable Death Mask helmet from the Allied Beast Tribes quest. Pretty awesome for glamours (if you care about that)

Starting rank of Sahagin, Amaljaa, Sylph, and Kobold gives access to some crafting mats that can be bought for affordable prices (read: players will buy them from these NPCs and sell at massive markup on MB. Don't be a stupid buyer). Ixali up to a certain rank allows you to buy Walnut Lumber.

Ixali at rank 5 and 6 offers Oaknots for daily rewards; these can be traded in for misc items.
1 = 2x philo/GC mats (Potash, Coke, etc)
7 = 1x myth mats (Cashmere, Scheelite, etc)

Mounts, minions, a title for each, and the allied quests at the end of it all.

If none of that is of interest to you, don't have to waste your time.
