    On a positive note: What's that Soul Crystal stuff all about?

    Some things suck. Some things are awesome. Some things are intriguing!

    "In anticipation of new features planned for patch 2.4, an extra slot has been added to the soul crystal section of the Armoury Chest."

    I can think of a few ways this could go. Maybe the slot itself will provide more info when we can log back in.

    It's because they're introducing the new class and job in 2.4-- that slot will be filled by the Ninja JC.

    The Soul Crystals is our access to switch from Class to Job... Like Lancer to Dragoon....

    Thats what it is getting ready for.. the NIN Soul Crystal that we will need for NIN.

    Wasnt really considering it as a slot for the new crystal, I thought maybe the ""addition of new features" part, maybe meant something more. Carry on with the emotional apocolypse. Nothin' to see here.

    When I first read that I thought that they were adding another slot under the Soul Crystal slot, meaning we'd be able to have 2 Job Crystals equipped.
    I was like OMFG that's unexpected...

    After a while I realized it's just one more slot INSIDE the already existing Soul Crystal slot to fit for the Ninja soul crystal.

    Yeah, sorry. You read too far into that. Just that the inventory space for soul crystals will expand by 1 to make way for the new Ninja soul crystal that you can get in 2.4. Absolutely nothing exciting right now, and nothing we didn't already know about.
