Is this something I can report people for?

The report options in-game are semi-limited in how useful they can be, but I have to confirm.

I was in a FC up until just recently, after getting into an argument with the FC leader, I knew that I wasn't getting anything out of it by still being in it, he didn't care and told me to go ahead and leave. I say I will once I go and retrieve what I placed in the house because it's rightfully mine, as I'm in the house, I let slip that I didn't much like him to begin with, other interactions had told me that his general attitude is the exact type of person I avoid in XIV, and since I tried to not interact with him much, I didn't have anything else to add, I said simply that I didn't like him.


He then kicked me from the FC immediately and tell'ed me saying how much of a moron I am for speaking that openly, and that he wasn't going to let me retrieve anything from the house that was my property. As moronic as I was being to not keep it to myself, the guy had always irked me, and I was going to say that before I left.

Now that I'm not in it anymore, he's going to hold my Carbuncle stuff and other housing items hostage and not let me take them out.

Can I report this to a GM?

Well he can kick you, and as far as I know, you will get your money back for the room...not sure what happens to your furniture though.
And I am going to say no that this isn't report worthy. Unless racial or other derogatory terms were used by him, you may be SoL. If no screen captures were taken, it's really his word versus yours.

SE has a pretty hands-off policy with FCs.
What goes on in there, what being said in there = your problem only.

I believe everything in your personal room that can be picked up once set down will be at the housing enthusiast or one of those other housing npc (not sure which one since I haven't had the need to do that yet lol). The stuff inside the FC housing is for the FC once placed, so unfortunately I don't think there is much grounds for that.

The 300K is never recovered though. (So your carbuncle lamps if in your personal room is probably at one of the npcs in the district).

Just read a different thread, and yes you should be able to get most of your stuff back, if you get booted.

Would be probable, but I didn't place these things in a Private Room because I didn't want to waste the money in the event I did leave in a manner like this, so it was just placed in the house like normal. I still have the chat in my log though and I'm screen-capping it now.

Ouch, ok yea, you may be out of luck atm. Unless you can patch things up with the leader, that stuff in the FC house could very well be gone.

Said he wouldn't give it back anytime soon, I filed a report for Harassment with a GM a little while ago, and I have screen-caps of him admitting he kicked me from the FC and isn't letting me retrieve my stuff, I'll be showing that to a GM later as well.

Good luck with that. I've yet to talk to a GM that would accept any screenshots as proof, even when dealing with sexual harassment.

So dont get your hopes up.

It is actually useless to take screenshots. GM's are unable to use player-taken pictures, videos or any link thing as evidence when issuing a report or investigation against someone. They will go through their previous chat logs, but other than that, there's not much they can do. Tis why you don't see a lot of people getting banned over raging.
