This is a stupid idea. Soft tokens are a stupid idea.

There's no difference security-wise in having the app on your phone or on your computer.

People are just too security inept to know the difference.

even if its not as safe as token itself, its much better then nothing, nor does it die out on you in year.

though i get what you mean, the idea is still not "stupid" is just "not as safe" as a token. need to tone it down a bit.
