Chocobo no gain experience at level 9

    PlayStation 4

    Time: always
    Frequency: always
    World name: cactuar
    Character name: filex anima
    NPC name: n/a
    Monster name: n/a
    Class/Level: n/a
    Party or solo: n/a

    Steps:
    1. Train chocobo with a nive 9 full krakka root in in the stable
    2. Chocobo don't gain experiencie.
    3. Thinking it was necessary to use an Thavnairian_Onion to level 10, buy one in 1M.
    4. Train again 1 hour later and error message (No warning for this again).
    5. Kill a monster and then if you went up to level 10.

I received no warning that my chocobo would gain experience before use both items and gil lost by this omission.

Have you tried taking it outside and killing a mob with it?

They do not level up in the stables as said above pre level 10, you need to take them out and kill something. At and post level 10 you feed the onion only when they are at capped out xp and they are in the stable to break cap.

In this case, should warn about this.

they are making changes to feeding a T onion... something about a warning before feeding. However the fact that you misunderstood the cap to be a 9 and not 10 is kinda your mess up. Take your chocobo out more often and it wouldn't have looked like rank 9 was the cap (i'm assuming it capped because all you do is keep it in the stable and train it) needs to be in the field to rank up.

Three dev posts about them already working on it. Ah ah ah!

10 posts per page is only the default setting; it is bad, and you should feel bad if you haven't changed it.

It does tell you when training will not give you any XP before you feed the item now, FYI. There's an extra confirmation box.
