Hmm I wonder how this person is in a dungeon? Guess this is what the OP is talking about, don't try and help him, just call him lazy, great job.

To be fair, at level 45 you should already know what the stats are for, and even more important, that it's better to have items equipped rather than empty slots. He's missing neck and wrists, the earrings are Lv11, one of his rings is for Spiritbonding only which I doubt he's worrying about and the other is Lv15.

"Advices" like that are the reason why queue times are so long.

That is actually a good advice. Why would you want someone that has no idea of what he's doing on an important role that can easily break a party? I've had tanks at Lv40 that still have no idea of what they're doing and the only result is having to disband or kick the tank, resulting in a much longer wait.

Its real easy to rank up fast in this game and being new to it, could easily be overlooked.

Yep totally. They should remove fates imo. Youy can spot the tank of levelled with fates only 90483094820 miles away.

When I leveled my first character, I did know well about my stats, but doing the main quest was my only worry and my main priority, so I could get to 50 fast and do stuff with my friends. Judging by the gear of new people in most dungeons, seems like they are on the same boat.

Either way the most important gear pieces (left side) are given by quests as you level up. Gear level on newbies is something I let slide unless its so low that it's detrimental to the dungeon completion, like a lvl 40 tank using lvl 20 gear or a healer that cannot keep up with the incoming dmg.

I realized this in one dungeon when I was still wearing a silly lv 1 shirt ... Id changed to it for some reason and never changed back... but the healer did say that I was wearing a crappy shirt that was making it hard for them to keep me healed - so my bad - I changed it. but my point is that 'until' you know these things - a newbie aint going to know them. so its pointless people being aggressive

Because people have to learn somehow, no one started this game knowing exactly how to tank or how to heal, if everyone followed that mindset we wouldn't have seen a single healer or tank at launch, or the current queue times for low level dungeons would be 10x what they are right now, since only people leveling alts would be leveling tanks and healers.

We as old players should be the ones teaching those new tanks and healers how to play properly, not denying them the chance to try out a role that isn't faceroll easy as DPS.

and if you dont see your hate on a boss then you gotta re think if it is your gear or your rotation is bad & fix it (usually it is bad rotation)

I don't think people really pay attention to enmity bars in low level dungeons other than tanks, and even then I doubt OP would be yelled at for having a low enmity bar in a low level dungeon.

edit: I checked your character...gear update is need. your left side is ok ok, but your right side....are you lazy ? Now I can understand why ppl rage and angry at you

To the OP: don't worry, think at DF groups as a collection of jerks and act accordly, when you will get nice people you will be pleased, and when you meet jerks, well, you knew they were there so don't care 'em
