SCH Novus (Help)

Currently working my Novus for my SCH and I need a bit of input as far as my allocation goes for Mat.

The build I want

+33 Crit / +31 Det / +9 Acc/ +2 Pie

is this a good build ?

Too many people say that the 44+ / 31+ is the way to go but seriiously on Tonberry a Savage Aim IV runs for almost 250K and same goes with Det materia so that's just not in question

But am I loosing out on major heals , and missing my purpose as a SCH Crit Build ?

I Currently Build for crit 545 atm ....it will drop minus 9 due to the Law of Levin being exchanged for my novus when I get it so 534 will be my crit.

Also Whats the Det weight as far as Eos/Selene heal output along with my owns.

Last Question: With my current set up would I get

+2/+1/+0/+0 on my Nexus build ?

The Novus example you posted there wouldn't be complete in terms of point allocation. The +9 acc is always there and doesn't eat up any of your stats. So, for instance, if you wanted to cap DET and get some crit and the rest in PIE, it would turn out to be: 31 DET, 33 crit and 11 PIE, I think. I am not sure if those are the exact values, as I don't have my Novus/Nexus (can't be assed), but I've seen a 31 DET/33 PIE/11 crit Novus, so yeah.

On DET: I'ven't tested it of late, but the last time I did some testing - fairies were affected by DET in proportion to my own heals, ie. they benefited from DET as much as I did.

Not sure about the Nexus stat gains, except that the native +9 accuracy won't go up at least.

Thanks for the DET comment. I think I'm around the 280-300 range and my Eos is embracing base around 750-900 is that good on top of my 1200-1300 base physick

That +9 accuracy will be there without you allocating it, though.

You could go +11 acc (+20 acc?), 31 DET, 33 crit. That is, if Ariyala is to be trusted what with the +9 base accuracy and the weapon going over the cap. I am not entirely sure, really.

However, if you leave your weapon be at the base accuracy (of whatever the bonus value is), you can have a Novus with: +9 acc (base bonus acc), 31 DET, 33 crit and 11 PIE. I am mentioning these secondaries because it was the build you aimed for.

There's a way to re-allocate Novus/Nexus stats. I am not sure about the specifics though, might wanna look around. In general though, you can take materia out of a weapon by talking to Mutamix. Ps. also edited my post, had a little brain-lag moment.

31 DET is capped. You mentioned the price of materia making the IV materias unaffordable so I'm not sure if you realized you'd need savage might IV to reach 31 DET.

But to answer your question, and I may be incorrect, but you would only get +1 determination on your nexus using the build you mention. The rest would have no gain in stats once you upgrade.

Edit : Asked my friend and he corrected me and said you need 22 crit to get the +1 bonus but for determination you need to cap at 31. Hope this helps.
