How long is to lv up a tribe and how to unlock lv 8?

Sorry for the question but can some1 help me? I only have 1 tribe at lv 4 and some1 told me the tribes can go to lv 8... how i unlock it? and how long takes to lv up tribe lv 1 to 8?

Every tribe has an initial max rank of 4 (Trusted), except Ixal. When you complete the final storyline that unlocks after getting the highest possible reputation for every tribe, they all get automatically boosted to rank 8 (Allied).

A quick run down of how the beastmen quests work.
Sylphs, Amalj'aa, Kobold, and Sahagin all have 4 Ranks.
The Ixals have a total of 7 Ranks, and work some what differently from the other beast tribes.
After you get each of the tribes to their respective max rank, a new side quest opens up, and after finish that series of side quests all beastmen ranks automatically rank up to rank 8.

It should be noted that you can only pick up and turn in ixali quests as a Disciple of the Hand.
