1- Yes, saved a few Titan runs with it before.
    2- Yes, often in dungeons.

I know you said this, but they really should give Bard a damage Limit Break. They should give every Job two Limit Breaks, not to mention expand the Limit Break system a bit to include a few more types; something like a Ranged Limit Break is perfectly plausible, just make it exactly the same as the DPS Limit Break with an added Repelling Shot effect, you charge it up like a DPS and then fire and jump back. A Support Limit Break is also reasonable, would fit Bard better than a damaged based one to be honest; OK it wont be direct damage, but it would still potentially be a damage boost, and possibly something great for DPS checks if it boosts DPS enough (doing a single Limit Break on a fetter is nice, but having a damage boost for all of them is nicer I think).

My Bard LB macro? "NOT TODAY."

Most commendations I ever got as a DPS.
Have my like, I would like more often if I could

Why? Similar thing happened to me as tank eating dirt and the Bard saving the day <3 (but there was no "Not Today Macro" but a Lala Monk)

1: Yes, several times to try and safe a other wise failed attempt at T1

2: I stopped caring, if we can't kill the boss mob WITHOUTH LB, we are in trouble anyway if the LB doesnt kill it right away.

lol funny thing that you mentioned this as when I think of the LB for bard this is what comes to my mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZaL-xgESLY

Though as you said a support LB would make perfect sense for a Bard as well. One can only hope I guess.

No, I've never had to use it.

Most of the time I see lb get use appropriately by dps.

I used mine once about a year ago as well. Didnt really need it I just wanted to see myself do it finally, lol. No one said anything either so w/e. Honestly the only LB's I have ever seen with any significant frequency is the DPS ones. Ive used the tank one once during Garuda (which saved our asses and lead to a win finally) but never seen it otherwise and healers ive seen a handful of times when group is doing poorly.

Does the healer LB work better with actual healers or is it the same across all classes that can use it?

    1. I've used the LB a couple times, just in situations where the healer dies and we're close to finishing, but still almost dying(4-mans, I don't run Bard in most 8-mans due to preferring Scholar).

    2. I see it used often, unfortunately, it's usually not used properly...like a monk using the LB on a Manor Maidservant in Haukke Manor story.

It's the same for Healers and BRDs since the healer LBs recover a percentage of health. I prefer BRD use it over the healers if necessary since the windup time is kinda long and if you are not healing during that time you might lose some people that were still alive before the LB was used and if they die while it goes off they don't get raised.

If so, how often, or do you remember the last time you use it.
ONCE- a LB3 During Ultima hard mode. Which, in the end, was useless because we all dies 20 seconds after because #Weakness.

2-How often do you see dps not use their dmg LB when they need to?
Eh. Not too often. Tho that's mostly because I dont have anyother dps class (the ones I have, I havnt used in dungeons yet) to know
when a DPS should shoot off a LB.

Either way- Bard LB's are absolutely useless and wastes a LB 90% of the time.

It just depends on who is wielding what.

    1) Only during emergency

    2) Considering I've been on both sides of Range and Melee DPS most times Melee DPS isn't used because it isn't safe for them to use it yet. So they mostly wait tell it is safe to use it.

Melee LB is a double edge after all since it needs time to charge and using it on the wrong time can get them killed.

Bard is probably the best example of how not to borrow from XI. I liked bard in XI. I liked ranger in XI. We didn't really need a weak mashup of the two, but for some reason SE is really, REALLY interested in rooting all jobs in DPS (even healers).

I haven't had to use it yet, and I have not seen any bards in my parties for various bits of content use it either. The entire limit break system is weak in my opinion - I would rather the two hour abilities make a return, or something else that is individual job based. Maybe keep the limit break system, but have the bar be personal and based on how well you play your role. DPS? Do a lot of damage, fills faster. Healer? Use efficient spells and low overheals. Tanking? Don't lose the monster's attention\provoke fast\etc.

Might help people learn to play better if they have their own individual bar to fill. Then fix the lb's for all classes - if your job can only queue as a dps it should have a dps break not a healer break. That's just common sense.
