something like a Ranged Limit Break is perfectly plausible, just make it exactly the same as the DPS Limit Break with an added Repelling Shot effect, you charge it up like a DPS and then fire and jump back.

Though as you said a support LB would make perfect sense for a Bard as well. One can only hope I guess.
