2 Questions for Bards

Even though Bard LB is super situational, sometimes, it's perfect. Other night I queued for Ultima HM in duty finder (pfftttt) and we made it through to the last set of spheres, got no tank (or healer!!) limit break, so we lost everyone but me and one little monk, desperately clinging to life with Ultima breathing down his neck--and the chatbox just explodes with "Nooo, we were so close!!" and "Wipeeeeee."

My Bard LB macro? "NOT TODAY."

Most commendations I ever got as a DPS.

Heh. Last time I had to use LB was in Ramuh EX a few days ago. <.< Ramuh EX can be very unforgiving when you get bad luck and we were able to recover ^^.

1) Only during emergency

2) Considering I've been on both sides of Range and Melee DPS most times Melee DPS isn't used because it isn't safe for them to use it yet. So they mostly wait tell it is safe to use it.

Melee LB is a double edge after all since it needs time to charge and using it on the wrong time can get them killed.

1. I used mine many months ago at Ifrit HM to keep the group from wiping. Generally though, I never use my LB as Bard.

2. In my experiences the DD have been really good about using LB at the right times.

1 - I use LB sometimes when boss is almost dead and so are dps

2 - I hate people that QQ about DPS not using LB in situations when clearly LB doesn't matter. Especially annoying when in duty roulette I get Titan hm and someone start to ask for DPS LB3 with all 8 members alive and Titan having 3% hp left.

Well, when I was running Titan HM's with the FC for relic weapons when I finally got my bard up, when I wasn't healing, if something went sour, me being one the only people who knew the fight that well in my FC for Titan's rotations, I used the LB even if both healers were still alive.

Bard's do not need a DD LB. There's 2 AoE and 2 Melee for a reason, just because they don't know how to use it doesn't mean there's a need for more. ^_^

Why? Similar thing happened to me as tank eating dirt and the Bard saving the day <3 (but there was no "Not Today Macro" but a Lala Monk)

@Topic:
1: Yes, several times to try and safe a other wise failed attempt at T1

2: I stopped caring, if we can't kill the boss mob WITHOUTH LB, we are in trouble anyway if the LB doesnt kill it right away.
